in the beginning was the Word
and the Word was made Jack
in other words, Jack being made the Word
and the Word was Jack
not to say that Jack was the Word
or that the Word was something else
but that the Word was Jack
ergo and to wit
and the Word was made Jack
and Jack was good
and in the voices of the men and the women and the cats
there rose a wailing of the Jack
that is to say the Word
and this was good
all across the land
whenceforth arose the cry of hey
and hey became the word but not the Word
because of course the word is not the Word
because the Word is Jack
not hey
therein, though, lies the meaning of the Word
and of this discourse
which is on, of course, the Word
the Word being Jack
and not the word
being hey
and if you should wonder
what is happening
then ask the Word
which knows all things
hence being Jack
in the manner of the word
and not the Word
which is to say
that your query should be worded
"hey, Jack, what's happenin'?"
thenceforth you know all things
'til then , man, you don't know Jack
