he silver cold celtic-carved tarnished black handle
she gold warm whorling rough bright-shining cradle
spoons sleeping stacked salmon in grey
tone contrasting
oxidized grooves washing white metal arcing
fire churns casting orange reflecting sparks sing
tools torn from argent made artwork through arms ache
she hollowed receives hungry vessel transporting
transfering paint
powdered pigment absorbing
dying leaves blazon black branches in winter
porous gold soaking dead silver in color
flaming licks hammered stretched twisted and crumpled
curling fan coiled wrought brittle uncrumbled
he dulled coated covered narrow long shovel
cobalt coal loamy grey clay clumps like muscles
of earth beneath hairy thin green teeming dermis
feeding fire filling hollow and stoking starved furnace
smelt forged white fire burnt dull grey once molten
set as foil to spiralled hot gold gleeming woman
